Abstract

The transformation of road safety management from a reactive approach to a proactive scheme based on data computation power has become a national urgency to reduce infrastructure fatality rates. Limitation in manual risk identification necessitate a more objective and measurable assessment system. This study aims to integrate infrastructure variables into a digital modelling architecture capable of automatically predicting potential hazards, in alignment with the mandate of Precidential Decree No. 1of 2022. The research method was developed using a quantitative approach by transforming physical road parameters into numerical datasets processed through a decision support system computational engine based on technical road assessment algorithms. Technically, this model synthesizes diverse multidimensional variables to convert qualitative attributes into a comprehensive risk spectrum output. The findings demonstrate that digital data integration provides an accurate vulnerability profile consistent with actual field conditions. The implementation of this model on digital platforms enables transportation authorities to perform precise risk mitigation and optimize road maintenance budget allocation through evidence based policies. This study concludes that the digitalization of road safety audits through algorithmic power is the fundamental cornerstone for achieving a sustainable smart infrastructure vision in Indonesia.
